This form allows you to amend leave accrual details. You should only need to do that when starting the system from scratch - thereafter Kwik-Pay will accumulate leave accrued and taken as pay items are added to the pay calculation. See how to set up leave for more information.

The leave year will be an anniversary of the leave year end date in the Payee Leave form.

Accrued

The accrued total is the proportion of the yearly entitlement to the leave type.

The total is accumulated during the course of the leave year if a leave accrual pay item is added to the employee's pay. The number of units of the leave accrual pay item is added to the accrued total each pay period.

If an annual leave accrual payment is not entered in the Calculation screen, the yearly entitlement will be added to the leave accrued total at the end of the leave year. The leave year end is processed when you open the next pay period after the employee's leave year end date.

Taken

The taken total is the total of the units from each of the leave taken pay items. The leave taken is added to the taken total of the oldest leave year with a remaining balance first.

Earnings

This is the total earnings for each of the pays within the leave year.

Weeks Worked

This is the number of complete weeks worked during the leave year.

Hours Worked

This is the total of ordinary and overtime hours for each of the pays within the leave year.
